Beyond his professional pursuits, Erich is rooted in his community, contributing as both a business leader and a supporter of local organizations and non-profits. His leadership roles have included serving as President of the Singing River Health System's Board of Trustees, President of the Walter Anderson Museum of Art Board of Trustees (passing the gavel to Jaklyn, in fact), and director of the Mississippi Executive Tax Committee.
Erich's life outside the Firm is rich and full, shared with his wife and law partner, and their lively children. Erich and Jaklyn are constantly on the move, supporting their children in dance, soccer, gymnastics, baseball, and tennis, filling weekends with tournaments and travel. When the pace slows, they cherish their time on the water or exploring new destinations. Erich is also passionate about fishing and flying (as a licensed pilot), finding both solace and adventure in these pursuits. Erich is a talented home cook, which is a benefit to many, but especially his wife.
